This refurbished Apple Macbook Pro Retina 15" display laptop features the popular Intel Core i7 (3615QM) 2.3 Ghz processor and an incredible 15.4" LED-backlit Retina display with a 2880x1800 resolution. This model is configured with 8 GB of RAM, making it capable of heavy multitasking and high processing speeds. The duel-core Intel CPU of this system supports ""Turbo Boost 2.0"" -- which automatically increases the speed of the active cores to improve performance when needed (up to 3.3 Ghz for this model) -- and ""Hyper Threading"" - which allows the system to recognize eight total "cores" or "threads" (four real and four virtual). With a GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics processor and a 256 GB Solid State Drive, this laptop is lightning fast and has enough storage for all your music, pictures, and videos.
I ordered two of these and both of them arrived pretty much exactly as described. The only thing that caught my attention was that one of them had been more thoroughly refurbished than the other. One of them has a nearly brand new battery installed and was dust free, the other has a 5 year old battery that is just starting to degrade and also had not been cleaned internally. The funny thing is that I would not have really cared if I had just gotten one or the other, but the inconsistency caught my attention a little bit and felt it was worth sharing. They were great otherwise, and this laptop still runs like a champ and runs the latest OS no problem even after 8 years.
The mac is very fast and up to par for the parts it has. But was complicated to set up and get ready. Also, the track pad immediately got jammed stuck after 5 minutes of using. Have to jiggle it which is kind of annoying. Also it stated that "no AC adaptor included". That made me think that there was no extension cord why the charger. But apparently in this case there's no charger at all. also you said the USB didn't work. Which made me think it was the USB. Instead the SD chip reader doesn't work. I'm a video editor and this is one of the most important inputs I need in a computer. Not happy with this buy.
I had a local tech guy transfer over the data from my old and dated machine to this one. The Retina model I purchased still has working ports, unlike newer models. So you don't have to buy as many adapters. Graphic quality with screen is crystal clear. The upgraded RAM and Solid State Drive means this machine will be usable for years to come. Unlike my old laptop which had a traditional hard drive, it does not overheat. Buying this cost less than a newer machine, but still has a great hard drive.
I wanted a fully loaded Mac, but didn't want to pay Apple's ludicrous mark up and I like full size USB ports. This refurb fit the bill. The company was great to work with and delivered a quality product.
4 year old Refurbished MacBook Excellent Condition
It works like a charm. I had a Time Machine backup of prior MAC and was able to restore all data on "new" machine without a hiccup. The condition of the unit was exactly as described and there were no surprises when I opened the package. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a Mac.
While this Macbook Pro is a bit old age, its definitely fast and runs at 2018 speeds. No issues, no lag, about 20 second boot up time, and really quiet. Do photo editing and with its powered 16GB of ram and flash storage, this machine is a beast. Battery life isn’t the best nor the worst but definitely has power management in my cases for pulling and saving power. With the i7 running at 2.3GHz, any task can be quickly finished! Lets not forget that beautiful display, Retina. I’ve never owned any Apple products except and iPhone and Apple Watch. With the iPhone X’s amazing screen, this Macbook Pro has quite a first impression on me.
This is my first Apple laptop and have found it to be of very high quality. I love the uniqueness of the milled aluminum case. The CPU and SSD are extremely fast, especially when working with video processing. The retina LCD screen is ultra crisp.
Overall I've found this to have been an excellent purchase.
I'm currently writing this from the MacBook in the photo! As you can see, everything is functional.
It has some cosmetic wear, but this can be fixed with putting a case on it.
It works perfectly and was easy to set up and mine came preinstalled with the newest iOS. No slowdowns or lag or issues found so far!
