    Long Live the Blue-Box Boxcars!!!

    I have just gotten back into model railroading after a 15-20 year hiatus and have been rapidly adding to my freight car collection. I always enjoyed building Athearn Blue Box cars and locomotives when I was young in the 90s and they comprise a good portion of my fleet. This Union Pacific Reefer car caught my eye with its "Union Pacific Fruit Express" livery, which is something a little different. I have been building several HO scale freight cars from other manufacturers and this Athearn Blue Box model was the most straight-forward and easiest to build out of them all.
