    Good movie

    Though not a real big fan of musicals, I enjoyed this one as a child and decided to finally add it to our collection. Very loosely based on a true story, still, well acted, great songs and singing, breath taking scenery.

    I love to watch this charming musical every so often--at my own timing. The DVD quality was very good. The DVD arrived sealed in new condition. A pamphlet with movie highlights was not included but I am happy with the purchase.

    The Hills Are Alive

    This classic film is as enjoyable now as it was in 1965. An all time classic musical with a great story line. Loosely based on the true story of the Von Trapp Family Singers and their escape from the Nazi's in occupied Austria at the beginning of WW2.
