    The Renogy 2000/4000 watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter is a nice looking unit and weighs a healthy 4.8 kg. Please view my test results below ⤵️. It's Standby Idle current consumption is 1.06 amps & when the unit's switch is Off, consumption is Nill. It's power output delivers a maximum 2050 watts of continuous output power. It's output voltage of 230.2 Volts & stable. The cooling fans have variable speed according to load and are very quiet. When under load, the unit does not produce much heat.

    Well made inverter with one “niggle”

    Unit appears sturdy and well constructed. The remote means that the inverter can be mounted out of the way saving on space. I have mounted the unit behind equipment with an extension cord giving me an outlet. Only used it briefly to test but seems ok. Only criticism is that the small PLASTIC feet to not seem as though they would be suitable to mount in a vehicle in any but a horizontal plane taking up a lot of space. I have had 2 aluminium brackets made for the unit so that it can be mounted on a wall.

    Works well, tested at full load of 2000W for 30mins, didn't get hot at all, just warm. Terminal bolts too short for supplied double 100A cables.
