The device also works as a hands-free phone, allowing you to answer and make calls with the sound of your voice. When connected to similar devices, it allows calls to be picked up or transferred to those other devices seamlessly. This 2nd generation Echo comes in sandstone fabric, which makes it ideal for matching your decor or, at the very least, blending into the background of any room you place it in.
