Great Used Ram -Used For x230
This is a great brand of RAM. Hynix makes RAM that many manufacturers rebrand as their own so it's a wonder more people don't buy their original product. I bought this to increase my Lenovo x230 from 4gb to 8 gb bit wound up sticking the 4 back in to give me 12 total and dual channel up to 8. ( 4/4 ) . This ram has been working great and was an exact match of what was already inside. Great Used quality and perfect packaging.

Hynix, great RAM
Hynix memory has always worked great for me and doesn't get the love that Crucial, Kingston, and the other "big names" get. Can usually find it for a little less. Works great.

extra memory is awesome

This RAM was good, I know because I test, do the same with yours when you buy.
This review is for "Hynix 16GB (2x8GB) SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 (PC3L 12800) Memory (HMT41GS6BFR8A-PB)" The RAM works fine. I performed a full test with MemTest86 -- memtest86DOTcom -- to be sure as organic error discovery could take longer than the return window. Test your RAM people. Mine had zero errors. The packaging was mostly adequate in a small padded parcel, the 2 Dimms were sandwiched in a burrito of bubble wrap. I would have preferred they weren't in direct contact, rubbing against each other, in transit, but the chance of harm is probably very low.

Revitalizing a useless machine
This memory stick matched exactly the one already in my Dell laptop. Adding the memory and an ssd made my laptop usable. Prior to install, my PC was almost useless.
