Following an incredible success with his debut album In The Lonely Hour - including four Grammy Awards, both an Academy Award and Golden Globe, three Brit Awards, and amassing over eight billion streams to date - Sam Smith is back with his sophomore record The Thrill Of It All. The first single off the album, "Too Good At Goodbyes", debuted at #1 on multiple global charts. Smith rose to fame in October 2012 when he was featured on Disclosure's breakthrough single "Latch", which peaked at number eleven on the UK Singles Chart. His subsequent feature-on Naughty Boy's "La La La"-earned him his first number one single in May 2013. In December 2013, he was nominated for the 2014 Brit Critics' Choice Award and the BBC's Sound of 2014 poll, both of which he won.

    Awesome!

    This is the first CD I’ve purchased in years. This is one of very few albums that I can play all the way through without skipping any songs. I absolutely love Sam Smith and will be purchasing his more recent albums.

    Short and Forgettable

    I love Sam Smith. His first CD was the first CD I bought since my introduction to Pandora. But this latest one . . . it felt like a rip-off. I listened to it and missed the first CD. Seemed to lack the depth of his first one, and definitely was much shorter. Didn't feel like a full album to me. Still a lovely singer, but I wouldn't buy it again. I wish I'd gotten Sia's instead.

    Sam expresses emotion like very few can

    Sam Smith's current song is the opening track on this cd. The song is mournful, but well worth listening to, especially if someone has broken your heart and you find someone else who "means the most" to you.
