    A compelling look at the avian world

    This book provide an excellent look at many aspects of birds and their behavior. Even those heavily involved in the hobby will find a lot of new and interesting information. The author is a skilled writer who is able to tackle potentially obscure aspects of avian life with style and clarity. The author has also written another book entitled 'The Bird Way'. I found both books to be equally compelling.

    Way more in-depth information than I had anticipated. I’m reading it slowly, contemplating and comtemplatively even. GREAT book! My science crazed grand niece is inhaling the book as quickly as she can read it, and I’m about to surprise an old friend who is a long-time passionate birdwatcher. In other words, a wide range of people will find this densely informative book fascinating.
