This kit will decrease trigger pull weight..It was easy for me to install, but I recommend having some experience with REM 870 disassembly and basic tool use. Combined with a shoulder strap you will have a steady on target shot,,,remember that a long hard trigger pull decreases accuracy on about any gun. The cost of this kit is a bit high but a gunsmith may charge as much or more and can keep your gun longer than expected...Shipping was faster than I expected and I had the kit installed in 30 minutes.

Expensive tigger
$85.00 for a spring and a small metal sear seems very expensive. If you own a Remington 1187 like I do their video as well as other you tube videos do not tell you about another 2nd hidden carrier spring and plunger in an 1187. When mine fell out as a surprise I could not figure out how to put it back in and had to send it to Timney who agreed the video didn't address a 1187 would fix it for free. NICE. If you own an 870 no problem video OK.

Improve your accuracy on your slug gun
Purchased two of these kits for both my Rem. 1100 and Rem. 870 12 gauge slug guns. Product shipped to me on time and delivered right to the house. Installation was incredibly easy and has completely removed all the creep, leaving a nice crisp light weight trigger pull. I used the medium weight white sear spring on both guns. Prior to my purchase I called my local gunsmith inquiring about the cost of a trigger job on my 1100 and was quoted $150.00 which included the kit. This kit has helped shrink my 1100 shot groups to 1" at 100 yds. with a Hastings Paradox Rifled Barrel and 12ga 2-3/4" Rottweil Laser Plus Sabot Slug ammunition.

Dedicated turkey shotgun
I installed this trigger with help from a u tube video. It was easy and works great. I have several rifles with Timney triggers and they feel as nice as the trigger on my Anschutz. Now I have one on my 870 dedicated turkey gun. Timney triggers rule!
