Good magazines - good quality but as-is does not fit if you have a magwell on your 1911.
Excellent quality mags. Made in Israel. They don't fool around. But note the baseplate will need to be beveled to fit an extended magazine well. The baseplate is a machinable plastic (Delrin) which is easy to work. Just ten minutes and a hand file is all you need to make the 45 degree bevel on the sides. The front and back are okay. The baseplate is the same as Pro-Mag. The magazine body is well tempered. Do be careful with the follower, is seems to drag a tiny bit. If you adjust it, be very careful not to overbend it and snap it like I did. If you do crack it, you need to replace the follower AND the spring as they are designed to work only with each other. I replaced the follower and spring with Shooting Star. Works flawlessly. You might consider beveling the leading edge of the mag ... Excellent quality mags. Made in Israel. They don't fool around. Not for use with magwells
Do not buy this item if you have a magwell on your 1911. The plastic base pad on these magazines is far too wide to fit into a 1911 with a magwell. Attempting to shave the edges on these to get them to fit won't work either, because the flange that holds the base pad is flared OUT instead of IN like most other magazines. Therefore, if you attempt to shave off enough of the plastic base pad edges to allow the magazine to fit into your magwell, you will shave off the plastic that is holding the base pad to the magazine. And, because the metal lip that holds the plastic base pad is flared OUT, you really don't have any other options. VERY FLAWED & POOR DESIGN.Do not buy this item if you have a magwell on your 1911. Another Excellent Product!!!

Worst quality I've personally seen. Get what you pay for.
The first mag put of the three busted down the back weld of the mag after loading up all 8 rounds causing it to jam in the firearm and not feed properly. It also would not slide in or out upon hiring the mag release. The second and third mag both broke the second day when the followers busted and the mags dropped out of the weapon in three pieces. Honestly, the magazines are garbage. And thats where I put them. I was pissed. I can't trust these even at the range much less with my life. But you get what you pay for. Ill stick to my Chip McCormick Power Mags, Wilson Combat, and the Italian A.C.T Mags. Terrible quality
These may seem great for the price, but not worth it. After one round of shooting, the weld on the back of the magazines cracked open, and two of the upper lips to keep the rounds in place have cracked in the rear. This caused several rounds to feed incorrectly, and the magazines do not drop smoothly. They have to be pulled out. Do not recommend.
