    Great radio if you get it for a reasonable price

    Sony products demand Sony prices, even on the used market. So if you can get this gem for a decent price, go for it. Just don’t pay Sony premiums, if you can.

    A Sony classic

    This set has a combination of good sound, sharp tuning, and excellent sensitivity. Sharp tuning is the ability to tune a weaker station next to a strong local station on the dial. Here in Albuquerque, I can get readable signals from stations 250 miles away, and pleasant-sounding signals from 150 miles away, on AM band.
