Outstanding Slice of Country Music History
If you like Hank Williams, this is a collection to have. Another reviewer stated that there was too much talking and advertising, not enough music. I was interested in the collection for the historical value, recorded live at the WSM Nashville Studios, just as it was broadcast in the early 1950s. The advertising was Hank Williams promoting Mother's Best products, hence the reason for the creation of the show. The recordings gives one the real insight to the real Hank, raw uncut, Hank just being himself. If you don't want to hear nothing but music I suggest buying one of the many other Hank Williams albums/CDs that are out there. Barr none, this is a rare slice of Country Music History.
