    Exactly what i wanted..

    Clear sound both ways,in all conditions,even in very noisy situations..the best function of the piece is the boom,with on/of on calls..when of,the calls are directed on the phone..u can use the phone,or just open the boom and answer the call..this feature is the greatest on this piece,,I wanted a Bluetooth,that i can use by my choice..not like every other piece that directs the call only on Bluetooth if it is on.. On other reviews,i read about problems with the boom.. Till now (1 month,everyday use,20-30 calls per day) i find no problem with it.. Quick easy efficient..

    One Weakness Ruins an Otherwise Great Bluetooth Earpiece

    I like the size, fit, sound quality, and length of talk time of the Motorola Boom series of Bluetooth earpieces. I do not like the weak and inferior design of the flip Mike because I've had many of them break even though I'm careful opening and closing them. I don't flip them and still they break which leaves the device worthless. Shame on Motorola for not fixing this so these Boom series Bluetooth earpieces would last much longer than they do, especially for what they charge for them!

    Excellent product!

    I have been using Motorola since the text model. I have lost, them my dog chewed one, wear and tear, I have always seem to find them reasonably priced at Ebay.this is #8 I specifically like the style not way out there. The fact that the earpiece does not go inside the ear is the best feature. The fact is I answer calls and stream music all day long. Battery life is excellent. Thankyou for a reliable product.

    Very similar to original Motorola Boom

    I bought this to replace the Motorola Boom that I lost. Although the appearance is slightly different, it has all the same features as the original model. It does the job as advertised.

    Very good with flaws

    I have used the Boom BT in several model successions over many years. The lack of durability of the flip boom has been a consistent flaw. I discovered last year that the boom can be replaced. However, after doing so, my unit would reset itself over and over at the slightest touch of the boom. I couldn't figure out a solution. I do keep buying them because of the excellent sound quality on both ends. Great volume range makes it useful especially in loud environments. For the Boom 2+, the product information says 7 hours of talk time.The voice prompts on the unit tells the truth stating 5 hours. Motorola needs to correct their advertising. And, why would a newer version of a product have worse battery performance? It is a little over priced given its fragility.
