    Super, totally modern Android 10.5" tablet by Samsung.

    I can't say it's better than I expected as I could not possibly have known much about it before buying it. That said, however: - It came without a stand, which I had been expecting as the Ad showed a picture that implied a stand would be included. I paid quite a few buckaroos to get one on eBay or Amazon - forget which - and at the time of writing it's still several days before it should come, very annoying! - Screen is terrific; maybe not quite as good as an iPad costing MUCH more than I paid (50% of listed price), but still excellent - after all it's not a camera! - Mine has 64MB memory - much more than the usual 32, and an internal 256GB MicroSD card that cost me $40 st Best Buy. This is a very important feature as it now has gobs of storage for documents, movies, etc., instead of ...

    I wanted to like it

    I really, really wanted to like this tablet. It takes hours sometimes days to finish the play store download. When it finally finished, my app would not play. I ended up returning the tablet, I am disappointed.

    The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 is worth the purchase for the extra screen area, the extra speakers on each end and quickness

    I really like the 64GB Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 because it has such a large screen and with 4GB of Ram it is pretty fast. It didn't come with a lot of what they call bloat ware that takes away all your hard drive space and slows down the tablet. It also has 4 speakers, 2 on each end which is a new feature for me and the sound is awesome, finally. The unit i purchased was used but it was like new, battery life still good on it and it came with a case made to open and prop the tablet up in either of 2 positions with something magnetic to hold it in each place. Really like that. The case is a very nice touch.
