No sticking
It seems some craft beers have a lot of sugar because they freeze up the cheap standard kegerator tap faucet when not used at least once/day. After installing a Perlick I was away for a 4 day outing and the Perlick tap faucet worked without any sticking. A Great Upgrade From The Chrome-Plated One That Comes W/ Most Kegerator Setups
The shutter in this unit is so much better than the ball slide in the traditional faucets. It doesn't allow the buildup or stickiness to form like in the traditional faucet.
