    Purchased as an upgrade to my now ex-processor in my AM3+ gaming rig. I have noticed a remarkable improvement in my PC's overall performance (especially as my former processor only had two cores whereas this has eight.) If you're looking to boost an AMD-based desktop PC without the hassle of going whole-hog into an AM4 system, then this octa-core processor is hard to overlook.
