Xiaomax is just the right diameter to penetrate the ear canal without touching the canal walls. I had hearing lost do to earwax blockage. My Dr. recommended an earwax softener. With the softener and Xioamax my hearing was restored in just a couple of days.

Slow feedback
The feedback is delayed with the video soft ware. There are no directions on how to use the items or its tools. You risk damaging your inner ear. Don't be fooled, this item will not work on any type of phone or tablet. Pc and mac have no problem running it but it'll tell you that its not connected if you try it else ware. The camera is micro, kinda good... when using it in the ear, camera vision gets out of whack and with the feedback delay, it scores rather low for trying to look inside. It's a big no. I do not recommend this item.

Great for the money...
Shocked at the quality of the video..very good. All of the family wanted to use this for various inspections from ears, teeth, or skin disorder. I haven't tried to use it to remove ear wax and am unsure I would do so, but for inspection purposes this is great! Video on my phone does freeze after a while, but an app restart fixes the issues.

Not User Friendly
Downloading software impossible to figure. Light on the tool is bright, however, would need someone else to look in my ear for me as I cannot get the camera set up on my PC. Useless.
