| Seller Notes: | “There are two versions of the USA "lights always on" switch. Both appear to function in the same way, but we welcome your comments. One switch has a yellow jumper wire from one side of the connector plug to the other side to always keep the headlight pilot bulb on, in addition to the main headlamp bulb. The other version has a brown wire added to power something, but BOTH switches have blocking plates where the LIGHTS ON/OFF switch would be located on Euro models, so your lights are always ON. The switch WITHOUT the yellow jumper wire may keep the main headlamp bulb on all of the time WITHOUT the pilot bulb, but we are not sure. Both switches have a white band with "D" code on them, and the same "DOT" model code. We will update this listing in the future, should we learn more about the difference in wiring; maybe when I find time to try both switches on my own 1999 ST2.” |
