    original item works great no conplaints at all, is a used remote but works perfectly well, my car is 2001 and my faulty remote didn't look new either, the chip is what matters, so folks if your remote shell looks newer just replace the chip inside your shell with this one.

    They’re used but Nissan doesn’t make them anymore. I took it to my locksmith who charged me $40 to program it to my vehicle. This particular one has a button marked “Trunk” but it doesn’t pop open the hatch. The normal unlock button unlocks all the doors though.

    Oh, yeah! Finally a key fob that works.

    My old one still worked a little bit, with a new battery, but after a few days it killed the battery every time. Then it worked if you pushed the button several times. The replacement works great. It programmed easily and has been working flawlessly since! One touch to lock, one touch to unlock. Just like when it was new! I definitely recommend. Note: replace battery with a new one when you get it.
