Fronted by the charismatic Mark McGrath, O.C.-based Sugar Ray debuted in 1995 with the funk-metal-flavored album Lemonade & Brownies. It was 1997's pop-rock-skewed Floored, however, that established the band's signature sound and delivered the breakthrough single 'Fly'.
