Silly 60s fun w Elvis and lots of singing, dancing and light-hearted romance
Formulaic 60s rom-com, w Elvis in Mexico! Which means lots of singing, dancing, pool-side parties, girls in bikinis, and this time in Acapulco at hotels and resorts. The story is weak but the action is fun! While in Mexico, Elvis loses his job a a deckhand, finds work as a lifeguard and a singer. As a singer, Elvis attracts Latin beauty Elsa. As a hotel lifeguard, Elvis meets Ursula poolside who has a jealous boyfriend. Elvis is interested in Ursula but Ursula is reluctant because of Elvis's hanger-on girlfriend, Elsa. Ursula's jealous boyfriend gets angry at Elvis and starts swinging. Elvis Jumps off a steep cliff, into the ocean, to overcome his fear of heights to win Ursula's heart, followed by singing, dancing and lots of mariachi music. Silly 60s fun w lots of singing, dancing, pretty girls, good looking guys and light-hearted romance. Elvis is having Fun in Acapulco, and we are along for the ride!
