    Dated films, but entertaining.

    It's easy to critique these dated films 'low' against today's video technology, and against today's standards of realism that the industry and the public simply wouldn't/couldn't accept back then. Age and era related shortcomings notwithstanding, these films were well acted.

    best double feature out there.

    One of the lesser known films from Heston, (Mother lode) but truly my favorite. and being a double feature with Jeremiah Johnson, no doubt the better Redford films, great duo...

    Robert Redford's "Jeremiah Johnson" is still a Fine Movie to own on DVD.

    Jeremiah Johnson was as engaging as I remember, but so far, I couldn't get into 'Mother Lode' !! Too bad "The Natural" wasn't included instead!
