So you are getting a combination of a leather backing with Kydex retention, best of both worlds - FYI - I say leather, leather, faux leather, basically it's not hard plastic; Condition: new, no blemishes; Quality: I have to ding here, the clips are very weak, and the mag chamber needs some remolding (still usable), may print; overall value: 4.1/5
