Energized by a rocking soundtrack, solid (if uninventive) gameplay, and large, futuristic levels, Android Assault: The Revenge of Bari-Arm is a typical side-scrolling shooter peppered with several areas of horizontal gameplay. Players weave in and out a barrage of enemies, lasers and bullets while furiously blasting away at most anything that moves. There are a number of different power-ups and weapon upgrades (such as a Burning Wave and a Chase Cannon), but you can only wield one weapon at a time. Collecting a certain number of power-ups transforms the standard ship into a more powerful mech, giving the game a modicum of personality.

    Android assault the revenge of bari-arm

    This is a fantastic hidden gem on the Sega Cd! The game itself is a very fun shump with tons of levels, power ups, and huge stages themselves. The stage size and awesome rock soundtrack were not possible without the power of the Sega Cd and I would highly recommend this game to any Sega Cd or shooter fan! THe prices are good. I suggest getting it at 50-60 max. It is exclusive tho and collectible.

    Better than average - classic 16-bit shooter

    It's really not a bad game at all. Pretty good CD quality music with a hard rock sound to it. Good controls, and nice weapons. You can transfom from a mech to a fighter jet. Overall it's a pretty average shooter for it's time, but because of the better than average music I bumped it up to 4 stars.
