    Repairing the March of Mars

    I purchased this book for a class that I am taking entitled The American Civil War. I first thought that this book would just be okay, but I was wrong. I would highly recommend this book!! The editors took many hours to review and bring this diary of James Apperson to life. Apperson was a steward in this war. He writes about his daily life, medical experiences, etc. I feel that this diary/book puts a new view on life in the 1860s, one that we typically do not experience in textbooks of today.
