It does fit my 2nd issue Colt Detective like it was made for it. It’s new, so the condition is excellent for the brand. Not close to Galco quality, but no where near the price. The appearance of the leather seems good, it does have leather flakes of lower quality holsters, but then you would need to pay a lot more. Overall a good value for the price.

The holster came assembled, but was inside out, which really wasn't a problem as the straps had to be adjusted for individual fit. I didn't care for the tie down straps on the holster and magazine case. They are permanently attached so they must be cut off if you don't want to use them. Overall, for the price, this is a very good deal.
