Value Performance, but frosts up like an old fridge.
It works ok. On high it will frost up and need to be defrosted (unplugged for a day). On low, it wonāt frost up, but isnāt nearly as effective. Iām not sure what brand my old one was, but it was far more effective and never frosted up. The big plus is, since this one isnāt working as hard, it draws less current. My old one could get my small basement down into the 30% humidity range. Best this does is 50-52%

TCL 40 pint Dehumidifier
This Dehumidifier has not been used long enough to form opinions yet. I am happy with the way it has worked so far. It is easy to move from one room to another even though it weighs over 42 pounds. I feel that it will work well and am happy with the purchase.

Removes an amazing amount of water per day. Humidistat is about 5% off but works well. Great price. Would highly recommend.
