Excellent value with sturdy construction
Took about 6-7 hours to complete the assembly of desk. Once together the unit looks very good and seems of excellent quality. All parts and pieces of the desk were packaged smartly. Since the two boxes, the unit arrived in, were quite heavy, I unpackaged the unit outside and assembled the unit in its permanent location. Per suggestions in the reviews, I didn't follow the instructions to attach desk bottom to hutch and used metal braces to attach them instead. This procedure seemed to work well and the components appear solidly attached. The videos on the Sauder website were helpful before I started the assembly and you may want to review them if you are a novice carpenter like me.

Excellent computer desk and love the color
This desk does need to be assembled so some skill is needed. My husband did it in about 6 hours and commented on the fact that of all the "stuff" he has had to assemble for me, that this was by far the best quality. Everything lined up and although it took a bit of time, all went together according to the directions. I am very pleased with this desk in my office.

Great desk!
Beautiful desk. Perfect instructions. Very sturdy. I hate that shaky feeling you get with pieced together furniture. This is solid and looks incredible. Directions were clear and easy. Some of the pieces could ha e been labelled better (written in pen on the particle board sides of the pieces) but everything was labelled. I've added led lighting to mine and I love it.

Beautiful desk
I had been keeping my eye on this desk for about 1 1/2 yrs on different sites. Just happened to see it on ebay for a very good price. Construction instructions were easy to follow. I am a 71 yr old female and put this desk together. Of course it probably took me longer than someone younger, but I did it and proud of it.
