    Excellent Reference Book for Classical Historical Apologetics

    Please remember that "Evidence that Demands a Verdict" is a product of its time. Don't expect it to respond to current challenges to historical Christianity. It also will not address the question of God's existence. That said, it is a great tool for understanding the classical case for the truth of Christianity via history. Josh McDowell shows he has done his homework. The book presents a convincing, albeit lengthy, case for Christianity.

    Big Book lots of evidence

    The title implies that the evidence is new. Some is. This was originally two books and The New book is both books in one cover. This is pages and pages of compelling argument that Jesus was/is real, the Bible has not changed, and that many witnesses of Jesus went to their deaths willingly and endured terrible persecution happily. If you have any doubt that Jesus was God incarnate, then you should get one of these books and study it. This is too important a decision to not take it serious.
