    Top of the line for the socket.

    It doesn't really compare to modern i3 and i5's but beats out all the mobile core 2's and brings new life to an old laptop. This was used to bring a Compaq CQ62 from a single core 2.4Ghz V160 to a quad core 2.2Ghz N970. Oddly, temperatures went down considerably, though that might be due to the Gelid Extreme Thermal compound I used. Install was easy enough, just ribbon cables and screws everywhere. Pros: Literally everything, fastest cpu supported and by far out preforms the dual and tri cores on the market Cons: Just the price, being top level has its price.

    AMD Phenom II Quad-Core Processors are really fast.

    They have lightning fast reaction, to your every command. The Chinese need to come down on their prices. It's called price gouging. All my grand kids have an HP-G62 with a Quad-Core N970. They love it.
