    Brand new. Works great... but turn batt. sideways.

    This UPC was new as described and was exactly what I was looking for. I presently have several APC ES350 battery backups that are older models. This one takes the same batteries as the older models and worked great. Note: when you install the battery in this new model, it must be turned sideways to fit in the slot for the battery. (The older models allowed the battery to be installed with the battery connections facing the cover opening. Took me a few minutes to figure out why the battery would not fit in the battery compartment like the older models. :-) )

    Excellent compact choice for keeping sensitive electronics safe

    I got this because our town has always had good power but over the past several months we had experienced several brief (5 seconds or less) losses of power. Each time this happened certain equipment, notably DVRs would reboot which is not conducive to long life. So I got two of these to protect some equipment that does not need a more powerful unit. The APC 350VA does a great job and the 6 outlets it has are very convenient.

    I own three of these, I bought them for my aquariums because of numerous power outages where I live. Now that I have these my aquariums do lose filtration during the outages, I usually have 3 hours and the power is typically restored by then.

    This product has your back (up)! APC Power Saving Battery Back UPS Computer Router TV UPS Home Surge Protector

    I bought this item after a friend had recommended APC Back Up Battery Packs for sump pumps. I thought "what a great idea". So I bought this product to have back up power for my sump pump in the basement in the event of a power outage due to heavy rain. I think that this is one of the best reasons to buy this product.
