Nice Little Sight!!!
I am very impressed! Honestly, I bought this sight on a whim, more curious than anything else. What got my attention was the fair price point and see thru flip lens covers, which reminds me of my Holosun HS 515GM sights on a couple of my MSRs. I like that feature and the added protection. Right out of the box if screamed quality. It's a bit heavier than it looks, seems very well built, and is nicely finished. As expected the illumination control knob is initially tight, ditto for the lens covers, but they'll loosen with time. I found it interesting that there are two "off" position, one south of the N1 setting and one north of the 10 (max) setting, thus giving the user options vs. having to cycle all the way down from a higher setting. Illumination was plenty bright for a sunny, snow covered range trip. It zeroed well at 35 yards on my M&P15-22 where it found a home. Windage & elevation adjustments tracked as they should. And like my Holosun sights, it's a lean, mean, non-bulky sight that provides a very low signature when used with two eyes open. I suspect I'll have one or possibly two more of these in the near future, for a couple Ruger 10-22 tactical rifles! Oh, and because upwards of 60, my eyes really appreciate clearly marked elevation/windage adjustments, which this sight has! Buy with confidence, this is a solid and nifty little sight!
EDIT: So I ordered a second sight, from the same store, and encountered a problem. For whatever reason, this second one arrived with an improper adjustment/mounting tool as compared to the first. Both sights utilize torx screws, but on the second I received a tool of the hex variety vs. torx, making it useless for mounting the sight and tightening the sight to the riser! I just used Sig Sauer's Customer Service contact tool, and will update this review as my issue is addressed by the company.
