About this product

Product Information

Benjamin Sheridan .22 caliber hollow-point pellets are a good choice as a hunting pellet for small game. These 14.3-grain, .22-caliber BB pellets have excellent knockdown power and velocity when impacting a live target. The Sheridan model of the hollow-point .22 cal gun pellet opens on impact, which causes more damage. Those who enjoy hunting small game will have a better chance of killing squirrels, rabbits, rats, or mice. You can also use the ammo in air rifles for handling snakes, lizards, or other various types of pests. The ammunition is flexible enough to work in both canister-powered and hand-pump-model compressed weapons. Benjamin Sheridan's 500-count HP .22 cal ammo comes in a tin container. Regardless of the temperature, humidity, rain, or even snow, the tin will not get damp. The ammo will stay secure and resist damage. With dimensions of 5 by 1 by 5 inches, the tin container is small enough to store in any tactical pants or shirt pocket. Weighing only 10.7 ounces, this ammo won't weigh down your gun bag or other tactical gear. You can keep several tins in stock without taking up very much room. You'll enjoy excellent accuracy when hunting using the Benjamin Sheridan precision-molded .22 cal airguns. Benjamin Sheridan .22 hollow-point ammunition is a great choice for new shooters or those that need to work on coordination. When practice shooting your gun at the range, you can visually see the tight grouping and improved accuracy level. Beginners who want to practice their skill in order to move up to bullet firearms will enjoy the airgun versions as these pellets provide a realistic but low-risk choice of ammo. Learn basic gun safety, become familiar with using sights, and practice safe storage. Beginners who want to eventually hunt big game can practice with this ammo on smaller animals to gain confidence in the wild. With virtually no recoil, air rifles loaded with this ammo won't damage shoulders or scare those who are unfamiliar with the style of rifles. The rifle pellet is simple enough for the beginner to just load, pump, and shoot. With 500 pellets per tin, shooters can fire the rifle away as frequently as they want. The plentiful amount of ammunition won't run out quickly, allowing for more firing and less downtime. There is no need to go out and buy a special model or branded pneumatic air rifle; the hollow-point pellet is compatible with all of your favorite airguns. You can load them into just about any .22 caliber 5.5mm model air rifle or even air pistols. Serious, hard-hitting air shooters and casual airgun users alike will enjoy the excellent performance of this hollow-point pellet set. There are no permits required in most states to use air guns, so you can stock up the Benjamin Sheridan ammo without worries. Upon receipt, simply load the air rifle, pump, and shoot to practice regardless of your age or skill level. Fans of real guns and air pneumatic guns alike will enjoy spending hours firing this ammo.

  • Good stuff

If you are trying every brand, don't waste your money or time. Just get this pellet, it is uniform, with close tolerances, accurate, hard hitting, and shoots down range extremely well, also, the price is usually reasonable. Been air gunning for 45 years, no matter what you spend, you can't get better air gun pellets. Shoots well in all types, high power, low power, pump up, spring, or nitro piston, the best all around pellet money can buy. Will shoot very close to the expensive match grade pellets. I have actually used them in match competition, and done very well. It is just the best for small game, such as groundhogs, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, and birds up to and including pesty crows, and one coyote shot in the back of the head from a tree stand. .

  • These H-points are ah-ite….

These Benjamin HP don’t expand much or deform as good as other HP. The lead is super hard. Maybe if I shot a brick wall it would expand. I ended up getting my drill and a 9/32 drill bit to mk the HP deeper and the circumference bigger. When I do that I get great expansions. Even if shooting an apple the pellet entrance is a standard circular small hole but the back of the apple is gone! If I shoot an apple without pre-drilling the Benjamin HP just makes a perfect circle in an out the apple. I’m trying to invent a soft led H-point w an aluminum alloy skirt. If you have ever felt the led from the crossman pointed pellets, u mean what I know. The deformation on the crossman point pellets is awesome, the only problem is after penetrating its target the soft led expansion is so good that there’s not enough entrance. With my invention of a soft led head and an aluminum alloy skirt, you would have a tip heavy pellet full of soft lead, about 10gr and have an aluminum connector to add an aluminum alloy skirt at about 7.5 or 8 gr in .22 cal. Shooooooooooot, maybe even a brass point attached to the H-Point tip to ensure decent penetration and excellent deformation while the alloy skirt will provide the speed for the pellets. So Crossman, if I can get a blueprint or recipe or the contact info for the led used in your pointed pellets I can start on that. Also need to borrow Gamo’s recipe for the pba raptor skirt. We’ll split the profits as my invention will become the kingpin of pellets. Don’t wait too long. This is a 1 in a lifetime invention so I’d jump on it before I go on to Shark Tank in June. I know that the rich Mavericks owner will jump all over this idea after I show him my apple demo w the new pellet. I will call it ….”Splats.” Patent pending 2/28/22. Attached is the Benjamin HP bustin an alligator gar that had cornered some baby duckies in shallow water. So I had to split his wig. They were excellent in that they are so hard that the water barely effected the velocity at about 5-8 inches of water. Went through the water like butter and inflicted a lethal blow to the dome of the gar. There are a couple shots that I shot in the Gar b4 I grabbed it out the water to make sure he didn’t swing around and bite my fingers off thinking they were duckies. But he was gone after 1st shot I think bc he just rolled over belly up and let out a bunch of air making a lot of bubbles for like 3-4 min. I assumed the air he had in his lungs was coming out or his head was filling up w water from the wound cavity. Pic1- shows the blast (I cleaned my barrel after seeing the sparks) but thought it was cool looking. Pic2- moment of impact, you can see the nose of the gar pop out the water. Pic3- lots of gar meat for my pal who swears gar is delicious if prepared correctly. Also would of not shot the gar had the duckies not been in harms way.

  • The BEST .22 pellet

This is the 7th brand of pellet I fired thru my Benjamin Discovery .22,at a range of 50 feet, keeping the gun pressure within the range of 2000 to 1500psi,in hopes of finding something very reliable for both moderate target shooting, and small game hunting, this pellet gave a consistent grouping of a mere 3/8 of an inch, when fired with a sandbag rest, with a 14.3gr pellet, and an avg. fps of 854 fps,in 10 shot groups,I am convinced that this is my best choice for an all around, now, time to shop around for the best pellet prices.

  • A more expensive Crossman Premier

I have tested a few .22 pellets in a number if air guns and these shoot just like the Crossman Premier hollow points. They just cost more. Same shape, look, weight, size, and as far as I can tell, the same lead.

  • Great Pellets

Gamo Whisper Elite .22 likes these. It shoots one on top of another at 10yds consistently. I wish they were a little cheaper.
