    "Great narrative and entertaining for entire family"

    This dvd is an excellent value. My family and I have been watching this since it came out. Family Halloween tradition. This was a must have for me, as my 3yrs old grandbaby hasn't seen it yet. Very entertaining. Not a dull moment in it.

    Family fave, not just for Halloween

    This film is based on the book by Ray Bradbury, and though animated, it retains the feel of the book. Bradbury treats Halloween as if he’s creating it, rather than writing about something already established. He conjures up pumpkin vines, mummies, and witches to fit this story of a group of trick or treaters who must travel through time, and cultures, Halloween joys and terrors, to save their friend. This is almost like a history of Halloween from a childhood point of view, in terms they can understand, encompassing both the frightful and delightful, thoughtfully intervoven to create a compelling story. Recommend highly for age 8-98.

    Great movie and educational

    My grandkids loved this story. The kids in the story have to help their friend Pip get back home. To do so they go through different countries and time periods to learn what Halloween means to different cultures.
