    The Soul of All of Us

    Very comprehensive and delves into how and why America is the way it is and how the mindset of its citizens has changed over 240 years due to who at the time was leading the country. The history is something that everyone should take from it and it helps to understand why we have such division now.

    The Soul of America

    Soul of America by Jon Meacham is a book that everyone today should read. It describes other low points in our nation's history and how the better part of the American character triumphed over cheats, bigotry, sexism, bullying, chronyism, self-dealing and self-enrichment, and misdirection. It remains to be seen how the damage of the present administration can be healed. The opportunities to do the right thing for our nation are lost but they will not be forgotten or forgiven. Their only value is if we learn something.
