Reviews
"A useful challenge to accepted wisdom about the normally taboo subject of mother love, with helpful tips on how to jump-start the healing process." -- Kirkus Reviews on Mothers Who Can't Love "A riveting, compassionate guide to helping women transcend the wounds inflicted by their rejecting or abusive mothers. Forward doesn't dole out unearned forgiveness, but teaches daughters to rise above the violation of the past, claim a healthy view of themselves, and have the courage, vision, and separate sense of self to claim their own lovability and express their love to the next generation of children." -- Janis Abrahms Spring, Ph.D., author of How Can I Forgive You? The Courage to Forgive, The Freedom Not To on Mothers Who Can't Love "Breathe a sigh of relief! Susan Forward helps you identify and correct an intensely destructive and confusing pattern of relating with those you love. I highly recommend this important book!" -- Susan Jeffers, Ph.D., author of Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway, on Emotional Blackmail

One of the best shopping experiences that I've had on ebay: thoughtful speedy communication, ultra fast shipping with careful packaging, and great price. Item came as described. Regarding the price of the CD- as I write this another seller is asking over $200 for it. Zuber's price was $35.00. How's that? I know these people have some negative reviews, but I can tell that they strive for improvement and better customer service. Highly recommended seller. Thanks Zuber!

The item came as described and nicely sealed! Luckily I didn’t have to wait too long for it to arrive since they were quick to ship it and I’m happy with the price as well! I was also made sure to contact them if I had any concerns or issue at all! I’m very satisfied and I appreciate the seller for being so kind and helpful! :-)

  • Wonderful Follow-Up to "Toxic Parents"!

Great book for understanding toxic behaviors in In-Laws. I would recommend reading "Toxic Parents" first by the same author since it'll give better insight when reading this book.

  • Worth reading

If you find one thing that you can relate to in this book it is well worth it. My gem was the woman whose mother-law referred to her daughter as "hers". It felt good to see that I'm not the only one who is bothered by this. The book tries to touch on alot of situations and overall does a great job.

  • Toxic Parents

This book was a real eye opener to how controlling Parents can be in Grown up childrens life and at times you do not even realize it is happening. It has helped so much for our individual family to become closer and have our own lifes. I highly recomend it.
