    Easy to use clips on or can be worn on clips

    I have been using one of these since 2011. They seem to last forever. Tracks steps, stairs climbed, distance, calories burned and sleep time monitor. Accurate as long as you calibrate it by adjusting stride length walking a known distance and seeing if your fitbit measured correctly. This model was discontinued long ago and replaced Fitbit one with the easy to lose flimsy clip it comes with. It was too discontinued. Leaving your only clip on model or non watch the bulkier, no rechargeable Zip which lacks some of the features of the Ultra. Best of all it clipped on a small d-ring (as pictured) Battery life between charges 10 -18 days. Only knock on it is it is not Bluetooth but does wireless communicate with the charging unit if it is connected to a computer.

    Fit bit works but the base station to enter data in your computer does not work. I can re-install it and maybe it will work or more likely not. Says Bluetooth not on but it is on.,.......too much of a headache me.

    Awesome!

    Ultra is the best tracker made (by Fitbit). Unfortunately, they no longer make it, but you can find NIB on eBay! Better than what Fitbit currently sells. I recently bought a Fitbit Zip from Fitbit. It has fewer features than the Ultra AND does not record steps or sleep. And the casing that appends it to your belt broke in a couple of weeks. AND I found out I have to buy a new battery every month. No thanks! Found a NIB Ultra on eBay - tracks steps and sleep along with the usual, clips easily and securely to belt, AND has a charger!

    Great device but can't be synced to all smartphones

    Item connects to computer when base station is plugged in and Fitbit software specifically for the Ultra is downloaded. It syncs easily. It does NOT sync to Bluetooth on my smartphone. I find it to be fairly accurate in steps, maybe counting 3 extra steps per 50 when I counted once. The sleep tracking is nice, I can see when I've tossed and turned during the night. Some of the newer ones have more features and will connect with a smartphone, but if you are using this with a regular computer and just want a basic view of your fitness and calories burned, it's great.
