Really great quality and came well packaged, and everything was as they stated; factory reset, etc. The only issues I had were that it was a unique model that was only released in the USA, so I had some troubles viewing products with the amazon app, as it only shows as US dollar prices. I can work around it though by using a browser but it's a little annoying still. It would've been nice if there was a note placed in the description that this is a USA unique device and may have difficulties in the UK, but I should've also done more research on it myself. In any case, as said, the product is in great condition so that's the only complaint.

This is the 2nd one I've bought of ebay, and have been disappointed this time , not a good battery life , cuts of in middle of reading a book and watching things , , so even tho it was cheap it wasnt the best buy .

The best feature of this device is the price. You get all the important stuff you want in a tablet - it does just about everything an iPad can do except Skype (as it has no camera or microphone) or gyro controls...however you can probably insert a usb camera/mic if it was a serious issue. Otherwise the screen size if good and the resolution is top quality. One small issue I had was that there is no UK support for the Kindle Fire as yet - so basically all the software I installed had to be through the root. And it could use a bit more space - 8GB is easy to fill, especially when you don't have the support of Amazon Cloud for UK users. Otherwise I would definately purchase if you are looking for a quality tablet at an affordable price.
I bought the Kindle Fire ....more as a back up for my lap top that can go a bit dodgy sometimes. It's brilliant value for the money. Very easy to use and quick to navigate around....no messing or waiting. The font size for sending E-mails is very small so I read E-mails on the Kindle Fire and answer them on my lap top. This is a very versatile tablet and I would recommend it to anyone wanting an easy, compact way of navigating the web and so much more.
Bought this for my wife as an upgrade from her old Kindle of 2 years old. Got it for her birthday as she loves reading books and magazines and also likes browsing the web. She is a 'Technophobe' but really loves this and finds it quite easy to use, even for her! The colours and display are excellent and it's quite fast on the internet too. She even downloads little games & puzzles for our 2 & half year old grandson, he loves the games and uses it like he was born to it. All in all, it was a very good buy and a great follow-on to the original Kindle as this is a Tablet also! The battery life is about 8-9 hours when using it and it's easily recharged via the USB lead that comes with it. I will definitely buy another one as they advance. Well done Amazon, why pay more for other tablets? Noel.Read full review
Although I had to "root" kindle fire (so I could install apps because I live in Europe and I fon't have an American credit card) I love it for reading, web browsing and keep notes on a daily basis. I'm simple guy so kindle fire speaks to me! If you think about buying one keep in mind you'll be very limited, in terms of apps and funcionality, compared to other tablets but at the same time it's a nice piece of hardware for $200... My conclusion: for fun is enough, for serious work buy something else! Daniel, Portugal
I absolutely love the Kindle Fire! I already own a Kindle but the experience with the 'Fire' is so much better, because everything is in colour. The back light is a very good plus as you can read anywhere without external light. I bought the Kindle Fire as I was thinking of getting the new Kindle Touch but found the Fire was cheaper & with so much more than just an E.reader. I can connect to the internet anywhere & read & send emails. I already had an Amazon account so buying books through Amazon UK was easy peasy.I cannot compare to other 7in tablets as I have never owned one. There is nothing that I don't like about it, so no negatives.Only 4 stars for features at present as most apts etc are not yet available in the UK. Hopefully soon as I can't wait to watch movies & listen to music. Excellent clear screen & awesome sound.Battery life is very good. Charging is also quick. I would purchase a stylus if you are thinking of buying, great for navigating around the Kindle Fire.I would certainly recommend again & again!!Read full review
Bought from Amazon for my wife who reads a lot, asked seller to send paper instructions, still awaiting reply after a month? No paper instructions with it, all loaded on reader and found them difficult to use and work with? Two quite capable people have had a go at setting it up but have found it difficult and it, as far as I am concerned, still does not work correctly? There is only about 5GB of usable memory, not the 8GB advertised? Finding it difficult to stay connected to internet at present, this may be because of where we are,(Tenerife), and the signal could be acting up? Will have to wait until I return home to properly check? (It did seem to be OK when checking before leaving GB)? Finding attempting to use its features a bit confusing and difficult, very frustrating? It has now been put to the side until we return to GB but we have found the product very disappointing and poor value for money when you can pick up a tablet that can do what this does and much more for much less money, I have seen them and I may buy one and try and sell this on e-bay very soon? I would not recommend this product to anyone and I would never buy one again The price seems to be falling every day, I believe they are now selling for UNDER £100.00 so what does this tell us: that they are VERY POOR VALUE FOR MONEY, I believe so?Read full review
Love it,love it,love it.Have no regrets buying this 2ndhand kindle fire;an unwanted xmas present.Does everything a tablet would do at a bargain price.Ebooks, audio books, watching films, iplayer, music, apps, facebook, internet etc, etc. Only two cons shortish battery life and unable to access free ebooks at local library.Actually make that one con,can now download free ebooks at local library with overdrive app.
I bought this as I travel across the worls a lot in my job so wanted a reader, a storage device, and a device to connect to the Internet without having to carry a laptop. This product does all those things and more. I like that it has been easy to navigate and to transfer data onto. I dislike that I have loaded many books into the 'book file' but some appear in the 'docs file' and I cant transfer them over. All in all very pleased with my device.
