It was able to escape the early M3A1 modification to accommodate the later gas cylinder lock screw plugs with the poppet valves. The tool is well used, which is to be expected, but it is still in good shape. The tool was packaged very well and shipped in a very timely manner. I have no complaints and I'm glad I could add this to my collection.

The parts are used surplus as described but are all Remington made parts, the seller was quick to respond and quick to ship. For my purposes this was well worth the price I paid. Only downside was from the shipping carrier managing to get a small ding on the bolt handle despite the well packaged item.
