It has a great focal range going from wide to the start of telephoto (17-70 or 25.5-102 equ). And it has that constant 2.8 aperture. It performs very well in the field producing sharp photos. This is a must have for Sony apsc. The seller is great! They shipped it same day and it got here fast. The lens was at a discounted price compared to everyone else, and it was indeed brand new. Saving this seller for future for future camera purchases!
