As is noted, the cradle is delicate, so take care when installing the new motor. If it does happen to brake, you can easily fix it with plastic cement. These motor mounts are my new go too! It will be interesting to create mounts that will accommodate other chassis' as well.

Mount is great for repowering projects for Athearns and protos 2Ks (if you arn't afraid to mill out the frame and cut the weights) SDs and GPs. I like the mount, will probably buy in the future to repower some more old Athearns and Proto 2Ks, so they run quieter and draw less amps.

I drilled thru and tapped the holes and it works just fine. Biggest disappointment is likely not your fault as the shipping via USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 days) took 15 days!
