Synopsis
Frank Corrigan is a Homicide Detective in San Francisco. He and his partner, Lee Fralick, are assigned to investigating the double murder of a friend of Fralick and what turns out to be his mistress / business partner in a call girl ring. Obviously the number one suspect becomes the dead man's wife who claims to have been unaware of her husband's secret life. When other people connected loosely to the murder victims also start turning up dead, the case really heats up. This story has more twists and turns than the crookedest road in the world and has the reader baffled as to who the killer is. Shadows of doubt are cast on many of those under suspicion.

- 7***4 (568)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseGreat value. Exactly as described. Packed well and with care. Shipped very promptly. Seller was communicative, honest and responsive, resolving a concern I had that was ultimately found to be misplaced and unwarranted.
- a***n (763)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseI bought this book because of the beautiful binding! The packaging was a quarter inch thick cardboard over bubblewrap, it was practically bulletproof & shipping was well tracked and fast. This book, "The Art of War," had a very good description and the pictures were great - looked better in person! A very good price for this classic book in hardcover. The Seller, PrepBooks, is reliable, descriptions were accurate, pictures were accurate, shipping was very prompt. I will buy here again!
- l***b (23)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe book was well packed and looks great, exactly as advertised. My wife is pleased with this gift - she has an interest in ancient and medieval religious texts. Shipping was fast, and when I asked the seller a question they replied almost immediately. No complaints - I would buy again from this seller. Thank you!
