Does not fit
I got a good deal on a Great Value refrigerator filter, but it did not fit a GE refrigerator that takes a GSWF filter. It would not seal, and sprayed water everywhere. I paid more money for a GE filter and it spun right on, no problem. The Great Value filter might fit some other refrigerators ok, it did not work for me, and I consider myself a pretty handy person, and it was not from lack of trying!

GE owners be advised
This unit locked into the fridge with a little encouragement. However the ramps on the inside would not engage the water supply switch on the fridge so no water would flow. Known issue with GE fridges.
