    The leather's more like pleather than anything. It's not oily. It's more of a pleather material. Still a decent runaround strap. Stitching seems to be okay.

    this is Genuine Oily Leather as stamped on the back...there are 2 pieces of Leather sewn together back to back which makes the strap more sturdy...and better water resistance....most straps like this that are leather only have 1 piece of leather and have the exposed raw suede backing which makes the strap very flimsy, which will not support larger heavier watches.....we have Sold Hundreds of these straps to Satisfied Customers...
