| Seller Notes: | “I would grade this coin as very fine or better with all the details well preserved. The coin has a dark chocolate toning and wear commensurate with its age and circulated state. The coin has some minor scratches and bag marks throughout, which can be clearly seen in the scan. The toothed border on both sides has considerable wear as can be seen from the scan. However, most of the coin's details are still evident, but in general the high points are worn out and the flowers and leaves in the wreath on the reverse have lost quite a bit of their details. In addition, the coin has a defect on the reverse suggesting a die crack and can be seen as a line across the reverse. This is original to the minting process and is rather difficult to see. Be that as it may, the coin is in good original condition, still has nice eye appeal, and is still a worthy addition to any collection. Please see photo to judge the grade and for additional condition information.” |
