The camo phone has a cracked front screen on top which can be covered with a glass cover. The dark grey one doesn't have any screen cracks except a hairline scratch across it. Wow, found these in my closet during cleaning and forgot i had these.

I bought this after thinking a while. I'm rough on phones and usually don't last long. So typically don't spend much on them. Thought I'd try these since there stronger and water resistant. I'm a welder and crawl around with phone and use it to take pics In tight spots. Have used to weld with as a viewing screen. Paired with a glass screen protector and a simple hard plastic cover. I'm 2 months and no cracks. Lots of damage to the cover tho. Spatter stuck to screen protector and not the screen. I love it. .... the bad is the battery life sux! Like hardcore sux! OK Phone - Poor Battery Life - Cannot Disable Buttons
Would be a great rugged phone if you could turn off or disable the buttons so when in your pocket the phone is not always being powered on... 3rd party software is hoaky and does not replace a good feature that is critical... Very good phone.
But, overall, I like the S3 better. It's more user friendly. The S5 Active has a better camera, better screen, but call and data reception is reduced for some reason. For example, I also have an Express 3. I can receive data and calls in a basement with no problem. The S5 Active, more difficult. You would think you'd get better reception for an advanced phone, sadly it does not. The S3 wins in that category hands down too. Don't get me wrong, the S5 Active is a good, but for an advanced phone, it should have better call and data reception. B+Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I've been waiting a long time!
First let me explain. I have been a windows phone user for about the last five years, I still like the windows platform, but I realized about 6 months ago windows as a phone operating system was going no where. I have been wanting a Samsung 5s for some time and I had also decided when the price went under $200.00 (NEW) that I would purchase one. I purchased this one and I have had absolutely no regrets. The switch was easy, all of the google apps. on my tablet transferred to this phone. Android has come a long way in the last five years, while windows has not. Way more applications than window and the apps. are actually useful. I love the phone the display is clear and bright, the phone feels good in your hand, just the right size. This is a great buy, not the latest and greatest, but if you don't mind being just short of the technology curve this is the phone for you. There is just one thing this phone doesn't have is wireless charging, and it cannot be added. Over all good
It is a very good phone wished battery lasted more than just a day. I am not on the phone that much and do more texting than anything. While typing , the swipe feature makes you spell things weird. I have to constantly go back and retype what I want to say. So far no one has been able to take the swipe feature off. Better than expected
Being a Samsung fan, I knew the product I was buying. It came in excellent condition- like new, perfect working order, and fully charged. I was replacing an old s4 with a very cracked screen and recently failing sim card reader, and had been communicating solely via email or facecrack. Being an on-call employee that can only be acceptable for so long. After shopping a bit I found the refurbished s5 actives were about the same price as refurbed s4s. My job subjects phones to liquids, dust, drops etc. and couple that with my clumsiness...not a good brew for the life of a phone. The active is a great upgrade for me, and I look forward to an adventurous future with a phone that can take some tough love. I love that there are buttons at the bottom instead of sensors. I don't care that there's not a fingerprint lock- actually prefer that there is not. Of course there is the usual bloatware upon initializing the setup, but most can be disabled or deleted. The phone came with a screen protector which was Awesome! Shipping was as expected though I paid for faster and should have known better as nothing ships to Tahoe from across the country in less than four days. Finally move to Android, Apple IOS is Old School
Been a iPhone users for years and finally got tired of IOS upgrades killing my battery life or forcing me to upgrade, and then dealing with trying to find an app that will that will work with windows dont get me started. Now that I switched over I experiencing great performance from a older 5 at a fraction of the cost of the 6. Pros: The Battery last me for 2 days most of the time. And if it gets old (Guess what I can replace it :) Apps are great and I haven't found 1 that IOS did better and most times the Android apps are faster and full of more functionality. Size is great, easy to read for someone who need reading glasses. Love the Messaging feature that allows you to increase the Font size just by clicking up or down on the Volume Cons: Honestly the only thing I can complain about is the trap door on the USB/power port, but its a necessary evil to keep it water resistant. Really good phone however not water resistant
this is a water resistant phone, but when i dipped my phone for seriously 1 sec in the jacuzzi with my friends to show them its water proof, the lock button stopped working (I made sure the back case was firmly secured). the seller however was very efficient and i recommend their services to anyone wanting to get a well priced phone quickly.
