    Overall good quality for used equipment. The play function is somewhat tenuous, as it does not always engage immediately. It usually takes more than a single push for the light to come on and the play to begin. I suspect it may be the same if I try to use it to record.

    Cassette player eats the cassette tape film

    When I received the item, it is used and the player eats the cassette tape when I played it for a few seconds and the film broke off. Therefore, it is been used quite frequently.

    Great vari-speed cassette player & recorder

    Great portable cassette player. Kinda noisy but it is to be expected with such devices. Note that the speed knob is kinda fragile and the built-in microphone is very loft and is meant to record a human voice so sometimes it behave strangely at high volume.
