I had to bend the contacts to keep them from shorting out to each other in the stack of insulating pieces. The insulation is plastic that melts at a very low temperature, so don't drip solder on it. If you're selling a Belkin 1/4" TRS jack then you should advertise it as such in the title not, as a Switchcraft type 12B then show pictures of Switchcraft jacks and even a drawing of a Switchcraft jack. Deceptive advertising.
