    Older phones will keep working

    In as much as these are rechargeable batteries, the fact that they are original Radio Shack merchandise was not a big concern as to the date of manufacture I wanted to make sure that they had the correct plug. All is well and they are working fine....so far.

    Fit but couldn't charge

    Batteries ( I bought 2) fil into my cordless phone, however thy would not charge so I needed to return them. Don't know if it was because my phone system (Radio Shack) is over 20 years old or because battery was defective. I really can't say yes or no on whether it is a good product or not.
