    Excellent Geothermal thermostat

    This unit controls my Geothermal heatpump to a tee. Most thermostats use their own logic when turning on or off the more expensive second or third stage heat. Most Geothermal units have electric heating strips that turn on while the heat pump is running to warm the house when the temperatures get really cold. This thermostat allows me to set a delay of up to 60 minutes before it will allow the second or third stage electric heat to come on. This allows less cycling of the heat pump and much cheaper electric bills as its more efficient run the heat pump without the auxiliary heat strips. Very pleased with this product and would recommend for a Geothermal system.
